Must agree with Rickster.
I think that most of us who have been loyally supporting the club for the last few (35+) years realise the importance of this game for the future of our club. I don't think any of us are thinking "nice one, more money so go but some big signings for next year".
I'm pretty sure most of are thinking that it will ease financial pressure in difficult times, allow us to plan slightly further ahead than a few other teams and not have to risk everything in an attempt to get into the top tier.
So all in all it's a very important game today, after the recent years of going to the shay and no matter what the circumstances there was never really anything to actually play for, as win or lose, you're in same boat next season, it's nice that we finally get back to some meaningful rugby, with meaningful consequences.
Come on Fax!!!!
