What is to stop teams now in the relegation battle from breaking operational rules to try and stay in the division knowing there is no way the RFL can punish them?

But how does that concern us?
2nd or 3rd it's still up to us.

I remember when Kevin Tamati smashed Dicko back in '88. He didn't get punished. We should therefore appeal Dane Manning's "tickle tackle" on that drama queen Barlow. Have they let him out of intensive care yet?

Or indeed Doncaster, again, to try and gain as high a finish as possible? Or for that matter my team, Fev, to try and ensure 2nd place? The whole thing's a farce. Reading between the lines, I don't think the RFL knew about last season's 'infringements' but it has been brought up as a defence. Then again, Batley's original defence of 'we didn't know the rules' is acutely embarrassing for a so called professional outfit!

Complete shambles. Donny game is now another pressure game for the boys as this could decide 3rd spot now! I bet Whitehaven are gutted as well. Dropped to last relegation spot on points difference after beating Batley in their must win game. Just farcical.
