"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."― Albert Einstein "Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense." ― Gertrude Stein "Don't believe everything you read on the internet" ― Abraham Lincoln
Once again Beaumont has run his mouth without the full facts. For some stupid reason each SL team put £80k in a fund at the beginning of the year and got 15k back every time they were on TV. Don't know why they did it that way, but they did. So Championship clubs aren't getting the same because they didn't contribute.
It just makes no sense. So teams that are on more got more money and the teams on less lose out. Why would SL's worse teams agree to that?
Maybe it's being pedantic, but on the RFL web-site there's only one more fixture in Super League this season, and that's the grand final on 10th October.
Other than that, there are 3 competitions in the super 8's, with HKR, Salford, Widnes and Wakefield in the same league as Leigh, Bradford, Sheffield and Halifax.
The first 4 clubs aren't in Super League at the moment, in the same way that the last 4 aren't in the Championship.
