To be fair, if I went to a game with my son, my father-in-law and a youngster, we'd pay £39 for pre-bought tickets to stand and £47 to sit. At Featherstone, we'd pay £47 to stand or sit. The concession prices at the Shay could maybe a £ or two less, but equally, a Featherstone supporter could be moaning because he has to pay £10 to take his two sons, which would only be £2 at the Shay!
I don't particularly like the pre-sales thing, but do understand why the club are pushing it (less cash to deal with, and saves money by needing less turnstile operators).
With only one stand open last night though, pay on the day would have been more sensible.
