Colin, I found gingdongs stupid remark very insensitive in view of what happened to one of our supporters a few years ago. (Not wishing to drag that subject up)
Waiting for fans boozed up or not seems a little too "football" for me.
However your observations on the actual game are spot on, But, roll on Friday.
I gotta disagree Joh, how many times in your lifetime of supping in pubs have you heard the one about following someone into the little boys room to clonk them when they're away from their mates ? Getting off the last bus at the wrong stop to sort a disagreement out ? Come off it, there's no denying it, if you had been in & around the vicinity of these imbeciles you might have a different viewpoint.
I'm interested to know what reports were given to the club, what the stewards feel needs intervening in or do they wait for someone to actually get assaulted before they act ?
There's a simple answer & thats to stop the sale of alcohol inside the ground and if anyone turns up at the gates in an unfit state, don't allow them into the stadium & spoil other people's enjoyment of a RL match.
Maybe if someone started deliberately slopping ale over folk in the Harvey suite things would be deemed different ?
