Great game and enjoyed every minute of it. Fev were definitely our best test yet. Got a blooming headache from listening to that d@mn band all night though

The scrambling defence was brilliant at times and it seems the lads have a great bond and want to work for each other.

A couple of us did give a rendition of the old scratching shed favourite "you are my sunshine" - you obviously were stood too close to the band to hear it

Well, I've just been chatting to a good mate of mine who's a Fev fanatic and he reckons we deserved our win and he wished us all the best for the season, adding that the Fev fans he knocks around with hope that we win things if they can't 'cos they like us and said we're always a decent bunch to have some banter with in good taste. They're on the other hand expecting quite the opposite next sunday when Wire are down at the CMS for their big cup tie.
Come and say hello to him if you see me at Cas next week, we hope to be meeting up there.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that Fev started their pre-season about 2 months ahead of us as well.
