Listen to the press conference he clearly says the RFL approached him, can't blame us for being extremely lucky.
I don't think anyone is having a go at any club as such.
The thing is, the RFL introduced a set of criteria that has not been adhered to on multiple occasions except to be used against any club that they see fit.
Any disgruntlement or anomosity is directed against them.
At our level we feel like lepers who are being allowed to die off.
Having bypassed the rules to fit Bradford as a "iconic" club that could not be allowed to go out of buisness they now have to apply the same with all other Super League clubs to avoid discrimination.
it would have been interesting to see how much help they would have given Salford if the Bradford incident had not happened.
Much less if any I suspect.
Salford are as much a part of good traditional Rugby league as anyone else and as a club it's great news that they have now got what looks like a strong backer.
