Reactiv Media - current credit rating on-line today is £25,000 per Creditsafe - not sure where this out of date credit rating comes from?
The £3,100 is the insurable value. (Risk Disk part of Experian business cover) If they went bust you can recover the insured value of £3,100. These figures are correct as of today. As you can see the last Annual return is May 2013, so you have all the correct figures you need.
Having had a successful business myself for over 10 years I certainly know how these things work.
I am glad that you have cleared up the confusion with your "credit limit" - insurable risk is different to business credit limits used in business - you are talking about 100% debt insurance cover- which is a completely different matter.
To remove 100% of insurable risk will of course produce a ridiculously low figure - who runs a business these days with nil risk.
I also have no idea why I should look at an annual return for "insurable risk".
An annual return is a requirement of the Companies Act to tell people who the directors and shareholder of a business and where statutory papers are filed and kept for public scrutiny- nothing to do with setting credit limits. To set a credit limit you look at filed financial statements.
It is clear to me that you are twisting facts to make a disingenuous attack on one of success stories of Yorkshire business. The success of Reactiv is especially incredible when he has done it during a massive recession.
