Called in again to see David last night (Friday) and spent a couple of hours with him.

Generally he was quite chirpy considering and managed to speak regularly, sometimes just a yes or a no or a couple of words but it was great to see him holding his own and battling on.

As stated before he still has some fairly serious issues with his left side arm and leg and that will be the next phase of treatment that gets a lot of attention.

In line with this he is now waiting to be moved to Pinderfields for specialist treatment and physio, this will be done as soon as a place becomes available.

This next step is going to be a long process, the advice is certainly months and possibly years.

I will post back when Dave is moved and gets settled in and if any developments happen in the meantime.

Hear, hear. Great to hear Dave's in good spirits, thoughts still with him and at least he know's no matter how long it takes his Halifax will still be there ready to welcome him back!

David has now been transferred to Pinderfields inline with my other post for intensive physio.

Condition wise is as before but he is now being allowed to move around in a wheel chair by using his good hand.

This has given him a boost phychologicaly being able to get out of bed even if it is for just short periods.

Visiting times are now even harder to arrange as they are shorter in duration and the demand is very high but I will let you know as and when anything changes significantly.

Great news, thanks for the updates, dont matter where you are from, who you support, Dave is one of us and i hope he continues to improve and we are all thinking about dave and his family.............
