I've never heard a Dull's fan shout for Fax as much as I did tonight. He seemed to be enjoying himself even though he lost his bet.

You're welcome back, might be in the North Stand next visit though, eh?

the restarts were a farce, especially the quickie he allowed them take whilst his back was to play towards the end.
despite that he wasn't the worst we've had and kept reasonable order in a game that was very evenly contested
Thought Thackeray was the only real threat in open play and was always willing to take on the line whereas Webster's only real contribution was his kicking game which tonoight wasn't very impressive

thought Widnes again looked to have no idea in attack. Constantly turned the ball inside (the Dean Lawford move!) & a high kick to the corner were about the only threat they had. CAant remember them putrting the ball through their hands once (but I'll accept their breakaway try was good)

Duffy aint a 13, looks like they are trying to fit 3 half backs into 2 positions.

thoughts on tonights game

fantastic result

Silverwood, gave soooooo many penalty's against us, the 25m restart, coz he was not ready! ok its in the rules, but then he let widnes do it in the dying seconds! very poor!

what was the penalty count? were we really that bad!

a pleasure to watch the game tonight, well done all plyers coaches and fans concerned

Widens looked far better drilled in the tackle, nearly ever time they tunred fax palayers on their backs, slowed us down a lot, we harley ever managed to do this! the dif in full time training me thinks

How good is our defence1 awsome thats how good

How good is our will and disire, tip top thats how good

and how good were the fax fans tonight - tremendous...

A good game, yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Disagree bout the tackling. thought we dominated the rucks about 80% of the time in both attack & defence. Didnt mind them slowing the play the balls down near the end of the game as they were killing their own time.

As for being full time, was just saying to pals tonight imagine if our players were full time, doubt would affect their style of play much, just would benefit from recovery etc. We would be unstopable! God knows what Cullen coaches them with them being full time, certainly isnt any rugby!

Duffy might not be a 13 but he's possibly been their best player over the 2 games, Thackeray was good tonight.

Could be, though I always pictured him as someone a bit older than the lad who was near us.
