It was incredibly exciting yesterday but I still think it should be 10 minutes each way and THEN golden point.

It just doesn't seem right, like going straight to penalties in football.

I have to congratulate Hull KR in coming this far in the past few years, but if the Rugby League are serious about giving the sport a wide geographical spread, then why oh why have 2 teams in the SAME city? What a waste of a "franchise" (I hate that word, but will use it nevertheless) place. Either bluddy merge them, or have one feeding the other in the lower division, and seeing as FC are obviously the bigger club, then chuck KR out. Bring down the mindless inner city hatred barrier and I'm sure the red red robins wouldn't mind being FC's feeder club eh?

There was a competition giving away 500 pairs of tickets to last nights game, All tickets that are sold can be added to the attendance whether the ticket holders show up or not.

Looked to be less there than the Catalan game to me

AM I RIGHT? I'M NOT WRONG!

: Sun May 31, 2009 6:30 pm
Talking of the weekend's games, I make the following observations ....

1). Teria ... terrieh ... terraaaa alber ... teriia .... that french geezer video ref at the celtic - wakey game was trully appalling. Even Brad Drew was laffing. Is he blind?

2). Tanya Arnold is a funny bird. Wouldn't touch her with a bargepole when sober, but she looks gorgeous after a couple. Anyone else agree?

3). Ray French is getting worse. Eg, when Earl Crabtree came on at HT he was racking his brains as to what his name was ... then conceded by referring to him as "that big fellow". Dave Woods is a far far better commentator. Anyone else agree?

1) Yes, as are all video ref's... cant see how Galea was given the try yesterday in the HKR V Wire game... no downward pressure at all.
2) Yes
3)Yes, everyone knows this apart from Ray French... I think he must have compromising pics of Mark Thompson

Yes. I've never liked French but usually get shouted down for that opinion.
