Im not sure thats the real reason that some people dont want to go. No matter what way you dress it up there is a very good chance that the people who caused trouble at the GF will be there for the game ready for `round 2`. If you dont think that then you are very naive or have little idea of how people like that work. The clubs have to work very hard together to make sure both sets of fans stay safe at that game. Its not going to put me off going but i can also see why some people wont want to.

Leigh didnt do anything only sing Oh Leigh, someone said someone threw a drink I didnt see that, what I saw was some Fev fans run in and throw punches, it got broke up and then a FEV fan in a green and white stripy top,( hanging about the coaches) started it again as fans were arriving back at the coaches.
There were lots of stewards who werent doing much our fans and Fev fans stopped it and then the police came.
There was a load of young kids armed with golf balls, but they legged it when the police came.
We then had to had 5 police cars and riot van, escort to the motorway and halfway home.

IT wasnt many that were fighting but Fev do need to stop it .

The hanging around the coaches bit is consistent with the reports of trouble at the barrow game, perhaps West Yorkshire Police should be forwarding on the bill of policing the exit of coaches away from the area onto the Fev Club, see if theres some pro active action then?

so 3 diff clubs all have problems at the same ground and this isnt an issue are people really that naive? it needs sorting id expect this at elland road or somewere thousand of fans get together but fev? hardly the biggest arena an hardly thousands of fans?

I was one of the fev fans that split the fight up (blue work top with orang zero harm logo on it) and I can state for a fact I had beer thrown on me, and that some of the leigh fans were giving it the come on!

So were your fans when you visited the Shay, yet you didn't see Fax supporters running over?

I was at the grand final with my 6 year old daughter and as your fans were moved from one stand to another the intimidating, aggressive and provocative behaviour of a large proportion of your fans was a disgrace, so you can hardly talk. You seem to think you have the moral high ground just because one of your fans ended up seriously hurt and that the behaviour of your fans is acceptable.

Well rugbyball, all I will say is well done on playing peace keeper, its people like you fev fans and the leigh fans like you who stopped and ugly scene getting even worse. I will criticise your stewards though. IMO they really were poor today, one woman was more concerned about lighting a fag when a fight was literally right in front of her. Both clubs have their nutters and well, its a good job the normal ones were there today.

I agree! however, this happend in the very enclosed space at the top of the Post office road terrace and made for a very uncomfortable exit. like I said I actually helped split it up, my point is people making out its all fev fans fault is just plain wrong, as I said I was covered in ale myself and ignored it, the fact is that some of the leigh supporters were acting like ten men as they were in a crowd and to be honest thought they could say what they wanted and didnt really expect to be confronted as that whole end was Leigh and at the time only a few few fans were passing, they were wrong as was the guy who retaliated.

I was one of the Leigh fans splitting up the fights inside and outside the ground , I don't know if any beer was thrown although I was told it was by Fev fans in the ground

Do you know who the middle aged bald fev fan wearing a green shirt with thin white hoops on it is that ran in starting it all off again near the coaches , he then casually walked away leaving both sets of fans fighting ?
