I mentioned the legal thread last time and I agree that if we meet the criteria and are not put in SL ahead of AN Other who do not then surely they are in breach - but it would take a brave club with deep pockets I feel to challenge .....

That is why I was under the impression they would increase to 16 teams as I would be surprissed if any of the Expansion clubs go.

Has he invested loads of money or has he just come in and stabilized the club.?

The problem is now that Leigh have the tick, the stadium, the youth structure, Its a case of getting that tick in the box again to be kicked in the bollox at the last hurdle.

There is no way i can see both Cas and Wakey going down and as they were the only 2 i thought were looking at the chop, i hear the rumours about quins wanting to come down into the Championships to get themselves sorted but dont believe that RFL/SKY would let this happen.

We've done all that was asked of us for this selection process and have been told this.
In the last franchise selection, SL teams were given their award based on the promise that they would all be in stadiums up to standard by the start of the 2012 season. There is no way they are all going to honour that pledge, so to me it's simple, anyone that doesn't, should not be given a franchise this time round.

But then again this is the RFL........Rules Fairly Lax. Anything could happen, so long as it is not logical.

No. Its their competition and im guessing they would be well within their right if any team challenged the system to not grant that team membership to the league.

It is a decision by an INDEPENDENT comittee so therefore we should be in, it should have nothing to do with promises as all that is needed must be in place.
But we know how the RFL work.
Widnes in, Wakey out, all the rest bollox.

I have looked and cannot see anything from the RFL re` the ticking of boxes from Sundays game. The RFL have not published their criteria for the next 3 yrs and I am not convinced that Sundays game is part of the next 3 yrs.
The announcement is made next week and unless we hear otherwise I would presume that Sundays game is part of this times criteria.
Now they could announce that Sundays game would count but as yet they havn`t , the only ones I have heard talk about it is Eddie and Stevo.

I mentioned this last week. Seems a bit strange that you can still tick the box this season when any club coming down doesn't have that opportunity.

I Cant see how this would 'get them sorted' though to be honest.

surely its about money coming in and crowds. if they cant get the crowds in SL how are they expected to attract them in the Championship?!

for the RFL to kick them out, they must be in all kindsa bother,
