With all due respect MM, if you were winning every single week in this league, or holding your own in your first season of SL, I'll bet my life that you wouldn't be moaning about 'exciting RL'.

We have been by far the most entertaining team in the Championship.

I for one am disappointed to see Matt go. I thought the way he conducted himself in the Sky interview after defeat last Sunday reflected extremely well on both him and the club.

Whoever takes over, I really hope we don't curb the attacking style that Matt has introduced. As Barrie McDermott said in the semi final win over Fev, even if there's only a 30% chance of it coming off, Fax will still throw the ball. Yes we conceded too many tries, but I'll look back over the last 5 years as the most enjoyable times since the Brook/Anderson era.

We "held our own" in SL for a lot longer than our "first season of SL" Jimbo, or haven't you been watching RL for too long ?

For your information MM, I am Jersey born and bred, and in now way a tax dodger - unlike my curmudgeonly ex father-in-law, Charlie Hungerford.
On your other point - stop being pedantic. I am fully aware that a SL start in 2012 would not be your inaugural season in the promised land. However, if you were to gain admission to the pinnacle of this sport, what would you expect in your first season? 'Holding your own' or, in fact, a challenge for the glistening Super League trophy?! Feel free to nominate a superior candidate for your now available coaching role.
