Sorry can't after being too close to both bad incidents with some of your fans it has left a very bitter taste in the mouth. You would feel the same I am sure.
Until your fans 'redeem' themselves by accepting defeat like most other RL fans I will not change my mind.
Lets see at the GF shall we?? (although I think you are slightly ahead and will win if it is Leigh but who knows you are both so close?)

Well difficult to argue with that even though I am a traditionalist.

You should know though there is a spelling error in you're post There is directional. Their is a belonging spelling.

Snipping on a public Internet Forum is not going to help things improve is it? Everyone is entitled to their thoughts but all real fans ought to be trying to calm the situation down.

If views like yours upset the majority of good fans then the bad people feel their actions are more acceptable, and we cannot afford to let that happen

and there's the rub Martin.
Whilst I accept that posts like that are not now the norm and the conciliatory dialogue is growing in increasing numbers, I find it difficult to rise above some of the generic and unnecessary comments I read on here.
I don't have to "redeem" myself for anything. I've never done or said anything in an abusively aggressive manner to anyone - EVER!!

I've discussed this at length with Fevgrinder and others, and given the job I do you'd think I'd find it easy to put into some kind of perspective.
But this is my achilles heel. I find such generically applied comments wholly offensive as I do the willingness to tar me with the same brush as the aggressors, and because of this I find it difficult to rise above it.

Dialogue and action with the Leigh fans has been nothing short of fantastic - and to be honest, we've got to the point where I consider many of the Leigh lot to be mates now.

I wished it could be similar with the Fax fans but while ever there are some contributors to this forum who would rather perpetuate anger rather than seek concilliation, I fear it is an uphill battle. Not unsurmountable, and it will require an element of developing an ability to ignore their crapola, but an uphill battle all the same.

Just go away will you I was stating FACT its not 'sniping' as you call it, I know you Fev fans want this to just go away and so do we but like I said until SOME of your fans can take a defeat without resorting to violence or threatening behaviour it won't.
What do you want us to do erase a the horror from my brain???
Take it from me I am also a Leeds Utd fan not that i go much these days but back in the 80's I saw some horrible stuff and the Fev fans were on a par with that, okay with you to tell what i saw with my own eyes?
