I was disappointed with Makali in the early stages his first season with us, as were many, for a player who'd caused us so many problems for Hull KR he did nothing for us in his first few games, but then came good.

This Season he's been fantastic, never took a backwards step, runs the ball in like we know he can, also funny to see when hes defending players head away from him, remember that hit he put on the Cas Lock Lane player?

Fast becoming a Cult Hero, as he did at Hull KR, asked him at Sheffield if he'd be here next year, his answer was that he didnt know but that he'd love to, think he knows what he means to the fans, and i'd imagine that has had a bearing on his decision if he has as has been reported spoken to other clubs such as Batley.

To be honest and with no disrespect to Batley but once a offer was made to Makali by Karl at Fax then he was never even going to consider joining the Dogs.

Well happy with that the man is like a brick wall, I just wish he stopped running out of the line too early at times for miss hits but when he does connect - ouch!

I've never noticed him rushing out? Maybe on the odd occasion, but not to the extent that Said used too!
