Attendance around 2,000 and problems at the ticket office apparently
I was very underwhelmed with the stadium (I was surprised at how small it was, I dont know what the capacity is). I paid my £5.50 for parking, and printed off my ticket, which gave me an allotted parking space. There are no signposts to get to the ground, and I drove past the turning, having to do a u turn to get back. The entrance to the ground was by make-shift road, which was full of mud and puddles. The car park was no better, it is completely un-finished and was full of mud and puddles (I think they should hold off charging exhorbatant rates until its actually completed). There were substantial queues at the windows to buy your ticket and they didnt go down quickly at all. It was taking between 2-3 minutes per transaction, which given that it is "cash only" was a bit ridiculous. How long does it take to hand over £20 and get your ticket and change. When I arrived at the window, it was clear why it was taking so long. Each transaction has to be entered onto a computer, then the user waits for the results and asks for the cash. Then they print each ticket. Then you go to the turnstile where there is another person who scans your ticket. What on earth happened to pay on the gate??????
There is one way fans can avoid this stupidity, which is by pre-purchasing their tickets and paying an exhorbitant
