We saw that Murphy looks match fit.

Thought our 17 year old prop, Johnson, who did 40 mins is a terrific prospect.

Happy with our wingers , especially Gorman (especially after move to fb)

Learned about the reslience of a few kids. Most I spoke to ahead of the game were chuffed to get a game at the Shay against a good team.

our 1st team squad,which is sufering an injury crisis the week before the new season, have had 2 run outs already against super league opposition, this week , and last week against Batley, was the chance to give our youngsters a bit of experience by playing against higher quality opposition.

Well not sure what to say about this, we stuck at it and the handling was pretty good, couple of nice kicks that brought tries so, taking away the level of the opposition, it was a bad, if cold, day.

Well done for getting the game on.

Thought we went well today with a high completion rate and very few missed tackles against a very young but plucky Huddersfield side. Im sure their youngsters will have enjoyed today. Thought we were well organised and the change in position for various personell went well. Fieldhouse at FB has got to be the obvious choice for me as i still cant see any sense in putting Whitey there, it was also great to see Worrincey come inside a bit more than he has been doing recently although im not sure if thats the game plan or just how its been for Rob thus far. Also Morrison in the back row is a must with his defensive work rate. Matt James also went well for his second debut and Tiger took us around the park well for his stint. An all round decent display after recent weeks which should give us a bit of well needed confidence. Things will come together once we get Barlow, Macca, Divo, Pato, Nanyn and Haley back on track.

Must say being this 'crap' is not bad at all.

No hopes in my behalf ginge! Couldn't give an ar** about how the giants go. Don't think it really matters - they've had enough leg ups to know they are more than welcome to feast at the super league trough.

Nah, I was just countering that misguided super league arrogance with the childish indifference it deserved.

Total lack of respect from the Dwarfs. I am not saying Huddersfield should have played the first team but a team of U20s with a couple of the first team would have been expected. Fax should not bother playing these arrogant gits next year.
