I know . I think craven and mullally held their own on Friday night. I can see by year two/three you will find hopefully5/6 of our first team will be homegrown. If we can achieve this then I will be more than made up. Craven/mullally/gore/brown and Gilmore all have the potential to be stars in the future.

Seriously not jealous Andy, as I replied to frankb on our site, until we can reach the level you have achieved off field in the Championship with regards fan numbers and corporate/ownership financials, there is no point us even thinking about SL, who would want to be Salford at the moment?

I think before we got the nod for SL all we went on about is how good our youth was. The good thing was, in April just after it was all announced, craven, Gilmore and gore were all offered first team contracts along with a couple of other players.

People may be pleasantly surprised by how many of our youth feature this year. Take the Wakefield game for example, we had 3/4 injuries and we looked very weak on the bench. We had Lloyd white as a back on the bench, if he was unavailable, I wouldn't have been surprised to see gore get a spot.
