Yes well played to Gannon this year but he has had the support of a strong pack around him so deffo time up the end of this season so he retires head and body in good health!I think if we secure Tonks plus from the rumours a prop from Dewsbury we are there or thereabouts (dependant upon Sam B) Macca is probably also on his last year; certainly on the current contract rate. (He does though probably have another year left in him on a play and pay basis)
Agree with the comment above about cover and competition at Half back. I accept that you can rotate Penky,Ashall,Handforth,Thackery,Bowman if injuries occurr short term but there doesnt feel to be many options available,or actual competition for their places. Young Ashall at Swinton doesnt look a bad player from what I have seen of him and would be a relatively afordable low risk option IMO.
