Terrific news and for two years cheers Sam and I agree Bowman is more a centre than stand off
I find that odd TBH.
If that was the case why did we bring so many three-quarters in this year to compliment the one's we already had ?
I think it's more a case of Rhino knows who his 1st pick halves are and Bowman can't nose in front of either in the near future, I think the lad has got a top rugby brain on him and I could imagine him playing loose forward at a push. I did think for most of the year it was a shoot out between Bowman & Casey for the final bench spot, Casey seems to be struggling with where he's picked positionally. The loss at Batley was unfortunally for the lad not his best game in a Fax shirt while filling in at centre, he also has the attributes to play 2nd row like last week or loose forward in my opinion. I might be wrong, but when we brought him in I'm sure there were plans to run him at dummy half which haven't really developed.
Both very talented young players who I hope can nail a place in the starting 17 regularly and continue their development at Fax.
