Bradford fans will never be embarrassed at the dreadful way their club have dragged the game though the crapper this season. AF is on here because a lower club is just about the level he can take the rise out of.

They seem to think that their club has been hard done to. Most of them are deluded.

To be fair, a few of them i know do have some humility and are greatful for how it's all turned out. They're under no illusions that a lot of effort has been put in by other clubs, directors and the RFL to save their ass.

Pricks like AF though don't deserve a top flight club.

Can't be good for your blood pressure, this. Why you want me to take responsibility for things the management of the club did is a bit of a headscratcher. Should you hang your head because of the Blue Sox farrago, or any of your financial meltdowns, or the effective default on the 2003 season? No. So why so bitter at Bulls fans just because they happen to follow a team that had people running it whose wallets and acumen weren't up to it? What were we meant to do, storm the boardroom and replace Hood with Steve Jobs?

You had 10 days off from posting on this site and you're back today.

It was your best period to be honest. Some of your better work on here. I can understand why you're hiding down on the lower league forums after your club's shamefull last nine months. Kick your heels on here for a while, until your club gets a bit of self respect back.

Bradford is a thorny topic on here. You have to undertsand it from the fans of a club outside the chosen few. We are told the high standards needed to get into SL and then we see Wakefield and Bradford collapse spectacularly with your club - seemingly a flagship club - dragging the game though the media mud for 9 months. After the slurry has been emptied you get handed a licence back. It proves that some clubs do NOT need to submit an application and it proves that licensing is a total and utter sham.

So when you come on here after what has happened is it any wonder that you're not slobbered over?

Not expecting to be slobbered over. Doesn't sound all that appealing tbh.

I think that we maybe have too high expectations for the sport. The fact is, given its lack of profile in the wider country and world, we will always be struggling for money, competent administrators and the ability to run competitions without the, shall we say, pragmatism that has been shown since the start of SL in terms of who has come up and who hasn't.

Any time I get any insight into what is going on behind the scenes in RL, two words pop into my head - "Phoenix Nights". Well-meaning incompetents, pompous at times but with their hearts in the right place trying to keep the ship afloat in the squall. No one is in it for the brass, because there isn't any. If the game does survive the threat posed by soccer, RU and the NRL's big bucks, we'll have done well considering.

And that's what bites. You deep down feel how all us championship fans feel but still come on here for a pop.

Cos your club is fireproof and ours was ruined by the very bloke so desperate to save yours.

As it stands RL is knackered outside of SL and not so great in it!
