Mark Campbell keeps telling his posse that he out-thought Halifax on those signings, but he almost crapped a Drax cooling tower sized turd when someone told him Liam Finn was "being tapped up" in the run up to the NRC final, the usual angry tantrums were thrown by him and of course his coach (at the final whistle) the fact was, he was spooked by the Finny-gate stories which were effectively created by supporters on both sides of the fence gossipping in cup final week. Yes it worked for us that week, c'est la vie....
Some of the figures & contract details are ridiculous & i find it very unprofessional for club officials whoever they maybe for revealing such details in public, they know which sponsors & which supporters to reveal their dirty work to & it's all garbage fuelled on being a poor loser in the case of Tonks & Barlow not signing for Fev on this occassion.
I really am losing interest in all of this unless promotion & relegation is re-instated, that's the only reward as far as i'm concerned. Putting clubs on standby in case a SL club cannot fulfill it's fixtures does not represent promotion & relegation, it's a cover up for inadequecies.
