Lets just say Workington use a heavy rotation of their own players, and "better" Widnes players. but when the Playoffs arrive due to the heavy rotation of DR players few are available, meaning Workington will be weakened from how they have been for the majority of the season.

Hey - let's not kid ourselves that the rules can't be changed before September.

Not actually the ' issue ' , playing in a reserve league de values the competition and ALL the clubs in it, making it harder for all those clubs to sell themselves to their customers ( fans and sponsors )

Swinton wolves have 9 warrington players in their 18 man squad,including paul wood,tyrone mccarthy.The rules seem to have changed already.

If it's right and Swinton only have 17 players signed plus dual registered players, how are they going to feild a team in challenge cup when there partner club doesn't want there players cup tied

Richard Moore and Kylie Leuleui to face Leigh this weekend. It has now become a competition between the 'partner' clubs to see who can manage the biggest p1sstake.

From a championship perspective, it's all about credibility of the league. You just won't know what type of team will be turning up - Kylie Leuluai may be playing for Hunslet this weekend against Leigh as a prime example.

This year a team could potentially finish bottom or top, depending on the quality and availability of the players of their 'partner' club.

I want winning the league to mean something. I want Halifax winning a game to mean something. If it loses it's meaning, then really what's the point?

THe next 3-4 years a critical time for the likes of Sheffield, Halifax, Leigh, Fev etc. Make the jump now and the club could survive as a professional entity. Don't and we will be on the other side of the fence and by in a similar position to Hunslet and Keighley when they missed the boat.

Sounds a bit apocalyptic, but I sincerely believe this is a big turning point of the game and a slippery slope - it'll soon expand to involve more players. This mirrors exactly what has happened in the Australian game - an elite league, and a feeder competition below it. Teams like South Sydney made the jump just in time, where are North Sydney Bears now?

the jump being fax to stand alone as a club and not a reserve side. would rather no fax than watch bulls/giants etc reserves.
