The season tickets, as last year, cover the 13 home league games. NRC games were not included last season as we entered straight in to the knock out section which were shared gate games so no recompense would be required.

Is there any more news on the new club sponsor which Tony Abbott mentioned a few weeks ago? He said there was more info to follow but there has been nothing further.

If it's straight into a knock out, with an all pay gate, then I'd tell premier sports where to go. Non season ticket games are hard enough to get people to without someone deciding the week before to move it to a Thursday.

I agree and will go further.Unless any tv deal is
of great benefit to clubs I dont want the championship
covered either.

I agree, Brew. In fact I'd take it one step further and, if it's true that they get Championship RL for free, I'd tell them that they're not getting the game for free any longer. Are we so desperate for exposure and think so little of our game that we are willing to continually give it away even though it ends up costing the clubs money in reduced gates etc.?

The good news is though that there are no repeats on tv anymore so you can watch all those old movies again as if for the first time.

I'd be interested how much, if any, value is added to sponsorship in our league now it's on a premium channel, no one knows how many subscribers they have, and they don't have a massive portfolio of sport to cover either. Sky may have added value but I'm unsure premier does.
