Dead easy to keep faith in a manger who has had success. but there comes a time when a change is needed. I thought we kept Powell a season too long. Even Alex Ferguson changed his astistant many times . A New coach brings new ideas and new players. Doubt we would have signed any of the players we have this season under Powell. most of them have talked about working with Bastian in the past and looking forward to doing so again

Yes we did, second half, nearly on our own line we played the ball and I think it was that little Sheite Gareth Moore who picked it up.
AND before you start, my friends at Fev I called him a little Sheite because that's what he is when he plays against you, but if he plays for you then he's "our little Sheite" bless him.
Wish he was our "little Sheite"


Didn't he come out top "little Sheite" against Ben Black on the Batley team coach last year?

Wasn't it you who put on another thread that Halifax we're going to win the league, but after 'a friendly' you are so down cast, wait and see what the regular season brings and if it is disappointment you will be able to tell us all 'I told you so'

I personally thought both teams were poor today with ball in hand. It was especially slow around the ruck area as well, think that was partly down to the way it was refereed.. Its hard in friendlies with that much chopping and changing to get back into a rhythm when you go a couple of scores down, both sides will get better. Best to judge when the league games start...
