I've never fully understood the animosity that by and large always exists between a towns football and Rugby clubs. You've got Halifax, Wigan, Bradford, Hull calling one another wendyball/egg chasers.

The only example I can think of where the entire town supports its respective clubs is Leeds. Everyone will have a preference but want all Leeds branded clubs to thrive. What's so unique about Leeds to foster that sense of unity? I find it odd.

I'm a fan of both and share your frustration.Leeds don't or haven't shared grounds and
thereby lies the main problem.The main antifax brigade at town were actually fans of the rugby club prior to the stadium sharing.
ps If you follow your football side prepare yourself for upset this sunday.

The animosity from the Town fans goes back much further than ground sharing. To be honest they can not get over the fact that we have won things, our club has had international stars.
Halifax Town and now FCHalifax Town have never won any thing and the only representative honours their players have achieved is something like England' F team.
We have had Lions they are all lambs.

The mouse is fine. Whatever either of me and Mr D says, we try and explain why we hold the opinion that we do rather than just sling muck (like some of here and theshaymen.net).

And this coming from a Bulls fan living in Leeds !!!!

I hear some of your Halton estate cronies were making a name for themselves again at the weekend, smacking Greetland players from behind when nobody was looking. Same old, same old....
