Can't see why you would think that was aimed at you Colin, I repeat I can't understand ANYONE not being excited about 2015. As for other clubs websites and opinions how does that affect my opinion of my club? Anyway onwards and upwards, would be very interested to hear how Jake is doing, looked on Gloucester Golds website yesterday and didn't see his name.
You won't do pal, he declined their interest. He's home from La Reole too, doesn't look like he's returning back there. He's going further abroad to work a summer season of a very differing type of employment, 'cos he's young & can do. I think my RL negativity has rubbed off on both sons 1 & 2 as neither are currently playing the dying sport & how could ANYONE blame them ? Son No.2 went to watch a local amateur game yesterday BTW & was offered a place in the team without even signing on, very naughty business if you ask me. I'm currently considering "shopping" the said club, anonymously of course
Do you know, just out of interest, when he was released at Halifax RLFC, he was offered exactly double the match fee that he would got playing for the blue & whites winning money, almost three times what he would have got for losing. RU, the place to be, considering Halifax needed their lads in four nights a week whether contracted or not. That's how to treat young lads, i think not. The RU match fee was simply for turning out, win, lose or draw.

I can't add to that Colin, it's a shame, from your Dad down to Jake and Greetland 8 you are a rugby league family, and I don't know the answer, things won't change, perhaps we have to. Any way best wishes.
Got yourself a good player in Dixon. Never fails to give anything less than 100%, very strong defensively and scores his fair share of tries too. Unfortunate for him that he has Gareth Hock, Weller Hauraki, Cory Paterson and Harrison Hansen infront of him plus some promising youngsters.
RM said at last week's meeting that DR costs Halifax nothing.
Thanks Mr Hall. Here is what faxcar said in response to my question which perfectly sums up what I was getting at.
"What it does show is RM is still looking to add the right quality type of player and whatever the financial implications there are still funds available and the BOD are backing him"
In other words we will buid our own squad and only use DR if RICHARD MARSHALL deams it absolutely necessary, good enough for me.
What has it cost us, you staying away? How much is that over a season? As I have said before, there will be more supporters at our last home game this season than there were at our last home game last season. So again, what has it cost us?

Exactly HJ, that's part of why RM said it was a win - win situation, he chooses not HKR.
I had in mind the incoming Salford lad in Dixon as well which may be different regarding wages with it being a loan deal.
Not only is RM looking for just another player, or players, in this case a second row but a quality player who will give us something different to what we have and the lad chose to come here instead of other clubs. Now that is good enough for me.
