There are some Fax fans who are extremely embarrassed by the conduct of your club but you wont find many who will admit it on here. And if the latest FOI request proves the rumours right that Fax are once again in arrears, then that really would be embarrassing.

Bubba. Fax fans jealous of FC Halifax? I think you must be on summat lad! My main issue with your post though is 'never to return glory days'. Why not? That attitude is what's wrong with this town. I include Fax, Town and the council in that. Half hearted Halifax is what I call it. Have some ambition and forward thinking. Settling for mediocrity has got BOTH clubs to where we are at this time. Look forward and look upwards mate.

Would FCHT have called off one of their games out of consideration for Fax? I think not.

because they've nothing better to do!

There are some decent posters on there who can put a point together but you are right, Im surprised some of them can even manage to dress themselves in a morning. Id be embarrassed if Fax fans acted like some of them on a regular basis.

It's been like that for a long numbers of years hasn't it, I don't think Halifax folk are a particularly excitable bunch at the best of times either.

I started watching the Shaymen in the early eighties before joining the Brookey roller coaster in the mid eighties. I'm afraid for the last 40 years (apart from a couple of seasons) the Shaymen have never failed to dissapoint. Even teams like Bury, Rochdale, Stockport etc have a few glory years in higher leagues and a day in the sun but not the Shaymen......you live in hope.

I also wish they'd drop that awful badge and replace it with the town crest.

Embarrassing reading on both forums and its the same culprits every time, boring! Both clubs are less than perfect but this constant you did this and we've done this, you said that etc etc is like a primary school playground. Move on people, if both clubs want to develop they need to work together sadly I just can't see that ever happening which is a shame for the town.
