Nice try John ,and partly right, YES I am saying Fax will not beat Fev by 10,and Yes I will accept your Wager as you call it on the Terms of if I'm right You pay for a meal at the Wren on your visit to the LSV ,and if if you are right and Fax beat Fev by more than 10 then I buy the Meal at the Wren : of course for one person only.Do you accept.?It is Cheltenham next week I'm hoping for a profitable week.Good Luck on Sunday.

Doris Stokes loves his whisltle far too much. Will no doubt be wrestle mania. I think you write Fev off at your peril in normal league games. I reckon we haven't beaten them in the league for a while.We will have to create a lot more than we did v Leigh and Batley as Fev will score against us for sure. Too close to call this for me.

For the first time in years I think we go into Saturday's game as equals with Featherstone, perhaps even slight favourites. On previous occasions I've expected us to be bossed and apart from the odd occasion (particularly the big games ) that's what has happened.

Featherstone and ourselves are completely different beasts from past seasons. New coach, staff and players, they won't have any baggage surrounding this fixture. There's a distinct lack of aye ups, owd cocks and love from this forum which tells me that our friends from P O Road aren't quite as bullish as they have been in the past.

For me two evenly matched sides but I just get the feeling that we're a little bit more settled and our players are comfortable in how they are going about their business. I know we've only scored 2 tries in our last two outings but to be fair we've not seen those sort of conditions for years.

Hopefully we'll continue to improve, give it our best shot and come away with a victory. Fax by 8.

About sums it up for me and LTD'S "Write Fev off at your peril".

Our defence should be okay but hinges on how well our attack goes and I agree with Charlie on this point there are still doubts for me in this area.

Fax by 12 and the first win in the league against Rovers for some time, apart from a crucial 2 points that would be a real shot in the arm for confidence.

Think you should be making different plans nigel if you think we are playing Saturday.In enough trouble with football already without taking their fixture slot.

Your taking a risk here Faxcar agreeing with me,that's a Flogging offence ,10 strokes with a Wet Halifax Courier ,I'm going to view the Fax result with keen interest on Sunday, a Fev win or even a Fev defeat by 10 or less and it's a free Pub meal courtesy of Halifaxjohn happy days.
