There WAS a drink culture at the club then, and a youngster on the verge of a Super League contract was worried about the impact that this would have on his rugby. Fair play to him.
That aside, dont think hes really good enough.

I would take Moore in a heartbeat if he were available. He would have a field day behind our pack.

I agree. We need a mouth, a disturber, an organiser. We are too pleasant by half. Look at Leigh- their team is littered with them, and it definitely works for them!

But we've already had him once. He has a bad attitude and is a disruptive influence. That's why he's been at so many clubs.

If you were to ignore loan spells then he really has only played senior level at 3 clubs, Batley, Fev, and Wakey. Like has been mentioned he came from a professional outfit in Leeds to a club with a bad drinking culture so I wouldnt really say it is a surprise that he didnt fit in. To be fair though he has had that stigma that has followed him during his career so its really hard to tell. That said he is a quality player that has been our undoing many a time and in my eyes is better than what we have at the club and i feel signing him would give us a Johno and Moore exciting half back pairing and leave Murrell as an interchange player capable of lifting the team off the bench.

He cleverly got our man in the bin for ten mins which resulted in them scoring.

Best half back on the field last week, destroyed us in the game at the back end of last season, the Rettie head butt game for batley. Theres three right there.
