Watching the highlights we looked painfully slow in the backs, not one to pick out players but lad Ecclestone needs to up his game as the highlights didn't do himselvelf any favours, looked scared to death when they ran at him.

Forwards will do a job as has been mentioned I just think in the backs we are short of pace at the moment.

Yes indeedy, highlighted by the fact that Salfords 9 tries were scored by 3 players, 3 apiece. both wingers and the fullback.
incidentally by going full time as some are clamouring for might increase fitness levels but not pace.

I've just watched the game back, we were a bit slow but some missed tackles and very poor options caused the tries more than a lack of pace. We knew we'd be slower with Heaton on the wing and not looking a great deal better for this week looking at the squad. We weren't helped by the Leyther in the middle, allowing us to play on instead of giving obvious penalties meant we had to work hard for our yards and that tells in the end. But that's gone and on to Sunday, let do the job, we are capable and should have earlier in the season, especially over there.

The thing is,if the gameplan again is to slow the game down.Your not doing yourselves any favours,as it also takes you out of your natural rhythm not only the opposition.

Apart from that your playing a team that has had to put up with similar tactics from clubs all season,without success.

To stand a chance of beating Leigh,you quite simply need to play RL.

we've given Leigh a game both home and away for past 2 seasons, were it not for a bounce of the ball your unbeaten run wouldn't have lasted as long as it did
