Does it comes down to what constitutes fair open debate, the thing that moderates it basically being the thread?

Of course things branch out and there are the occasional digs and windups along the way.

When the same things are repeated over and over again, betting is involved or it starts getting personnel it benefits no one really.

Cmon Faxcar ,you have met me you know I'm not really like my avatar,the season is over we need a bit of banter I'm sure we at Leigh have taken a lot recently,I do love a debate and a bet ,but it wasn't me who threw the challenge of the bet down I just accepted it,as for personal remarks I don't do them either.Anyway I hope you enjoy the off season come back refreshed and could see you again in the East Stand next year.Ian.

Sure Charlie, but what has the thread "Players leaving Fax " got to do with Ridyard owning Moore, Kaye owning Sharp (in your opinion) from a game well over a year ago?

Apart from seeming to compare (again for the countless number of times) everything Fax has with everything Leigh has in favor of Leigh.

Leigh should do better, they have all the "seeming" advantages, full time team, millionaire backer etc etc.

I said before your biggest threat (and ours) comes from the bottom 4 of SL in the eights, in there the advantages are reversed as your own DB is stating.

Your next biggest threat comes from within and whether the "buy the way to success" approach can produce a team capable of delivering the goods from a group of high payed individuals several of whom are new to the side.

PS. It might even be the other way round.

Buying big name individuals is a guarantee. It's worked at Salford hasn't it!

A team is a team, not a group of individuals. Getting them to gel is the secret.

I do tend to agree, however many clubs in all sports buy big name individuals and do get them to gel as you say.
The secret? The coach.

And the mentality of the player! They have to have that team ethos in them somewhere. A good coach will put it all together and make a team better than the sum of the parts.

Im not sure what has happened at Salford, I'm a Marwan fan though ,I think he is trying to hard to be successful,it doesn't happen overnight,as for Leigh signing the big names,it looks a very exciting team next year,I hope they can gel together but I agree there's nothing certain.
