All the full time teams have a advantage with extra training , recovery time etc. I see us as the best part time team but I think we will find it tougher getting into top 4 this season. Will come down to the last game of season. We need to beat teams around us and the table will take care of itself. Hard to predict table apart from Leigh & Bradford in top 2. Our biggest challengers are London, Sheffield , Fev and Dewsbury for top 4. Tipping us to finish fourth with RM at helm

I think even some Fax fans will get a shock just how much we have improved from last season. I do not like to be over confident but I see us been more a challenge for 2nd place than looking over our shoulder for 4th. I cant see the players that finished last season dropping their standards that much and they know where the bar is now set in terms of the levels we need to be playing at, that means the teams that missed the 4 last year have to raise their levels a hell of a lot to catch us.

We all know what we want from the coming season and we all know what we expect,you can discuss this point to no end,every fan from every Club wants and expects the same in an ideal world,who says we are inferior to Leigh?And who says we are Superior to Swinton?That's the way of the world,play each game one at a time getting your 2 points and the League will look after itself.

Joking aside Halleyaxers * that's my take on Jaggers constant "Leighers" on the Leigh forum where he spends the majority of his time.

Here are my predictions & thoughts for your season.

1. Leigh
2. Bradford *they also have the ability to implode*
3. Halifax
4. Dewsbury/Eagles
5/6 Featherstone/London

*London to possibly go into administration, again*

Halifax will not be in the £ Million game
*unless Leigh achieve automatic promotion*
*£Million game could be between 2 SL sides*

If Bradford have a nightmare then I see 'Fax' coming 2nd, but only if Bulls have a monumental wobble.

In all cases I predict a great season for the Championship, a closing of the gap in quality 'again' between the top 4 Championship & bottom 6 SL teams & even greater interest in the comp from TV, sponsors & SL fans.

It's all good, Championship will be held in much higher regard by all yet again.
Fax & Leigh will have great seasons, Bradford will do great but feel like they have found a penny & lost a pound.

& not that it matters in pure rugby terms, but Halifax v Leigh at the Shed will see Leigh fans easily outnumber Fax.
