To add I would say that DR is a sticking plaster which can fall off at any given time, this was recognised by Leigh a fww years back when the Club decided to go it alone & build 'initially' from within.
Even if say you have 2 or 3 rated SL players at your Club on DR, they can be recalled at the worst time & likewise your opponents could pitch up as said above with a couple of DR SL players who become game changers.
The RFL need to look at
BOTH SL & Championship & make reserve grade mandatory in both divisions, if needs be then they need to help fund this move for the sake of British RL.
Scrap the sticking plaster of DR & do something purposeful would be my message to the RFL, after all they have just posted a profit again I hear, so use it to strengthen the game.
