A very valid point I couldn't agree more.i know you've boycotted games involving DR players but i've witnessed them all and have seen no benefit to us whatsoever.the players sent are no better than what we have and their inclusion has stifled the progress of the likes of Nelmes,Riley etc.The Salford boys think being sent to Halifax is some sort of punishment.

Absolutely. Also how does it affect our players, first teamers and fringe players? In RM's own words, what does using DR say to the lads in the reserves? Ditch it once and for all I say.

I think it is disgusting that prices were increased for the play-off match - I hope the spectors refrain from purchases at one of the upcoming matches.

I assume that until the Council get some decent management in (and I only have to look at the succesful launch of the Piece Hall by the Piece Hall Trust to see what can be done) nothing will change, and losses will continue.

The Shay will always run at a loss. There isnt enough going on down there for it to be otherwise i.e. there is only one stand that has facilities which can be used outside of matchdays. Some stadiums run on a profit but the rest, such as the Shay, should be simply viewed as a home and roof over the head.

The squad as it is is more than good enough to make the top 4 but is clearly short of depth. Do we bring in a few more squad players to pack out the squad so it can last the season or do we try to bring in say a couple of quality players to improve the starting 17 but leaving us short in depth? Id go for quality and using DR to cover any possible injury problems and save money for quality. Last season was a disaster when we went for squad depth while not improving the starting 17 quality.

The players that were sent were all individually better than most if not all of what we have. They will all become regulars at SL in my opinion. The problem is how they intergrate in to a tight knit squad.

So the main question is who runs the shop going forward and who covers the loss that the shop has traditionally made in the past? Some times the alternative is not as rosey as it is made out.

Respect your opinion but do disagree,when they pulled the blue shirt on they were ordinary.Evalds and bibby were sh!te.Lannon ordinary but looks like Neil Cowie when in Salford colours.Wilkinson went to Swinton not s/l.Murray was ordinary too.
