I think the £2 uplift for normal gameday admission is Ok, and by increasing pre-sales, it means less cash being handled and potentially less turnstile operators to pay. It makes sense for the club, gives a marginal increase in income from those paying on the day, and keeps the price down for regular supporters. Picking up tickets from the shop works well (albeit I did encounter someone who'd bought a ticket which wasn't there for him), albeit a few minutes extra needed for southstanders to collect their ticket.What doesn't sit as well with this game is the price hike which is more than for normal league games. Also, given the weather we have at the moment, it always raises the point about buying a ticket and then not being able to attend a rearranged fixture.
