Great to see and we welcome them to the Shay. Surprised they've sold out tbh, 'cos they struggle to get over 2k for their home games, but then again Fax take a few hundred on the road with smaller attendances. So game on, it should be a cracker.

Great to see Toulouse beating Widnes as I type, but I don't get what all the fuss is about Toronto. Good team, but having watched an atmosphere charged Leeds - v - Hull KR, it's so drab watching the Toronto game. Quiet crowd, and I've no idea where they get these huge crowds from. A few tents behind one set of sticks, a car park at the other end, and an half empty stand opposite the cameras. Must be packed under the cameras I guess. Multiple makings on the pitch, and it sounds like the ground is next to an airport!

EDIT: Toulouse thrash Widnes which see Fax leap frog them on points difference. Get in there! :D

The Salford ticket sales are very good news. I was begining to think that all the simple lessons on promoting matches had been forgotten and slipping by to our old ways so pleasantly surprised. Let's hope fax surprise us all on the field It's the classic fax scenario of everyone expecting a Salford win by some way and fax trying hard but not being able to score so let's see which fax turn up today.
Is Mark Moore still with the club its all been very silent of late ?! Who is running the show ?

Hard to think of a positive after that. There is a lot of work to do to is my main thought and changes a half back is screaming out as the top of the list. The attack was simply non existent. Hard to watch today as a supporter

Sheer fitness and linespeed versus an off form team who again achieved top 4 and that's enough for them

Well that didn’t go too well, popped up poor ball in the first half from which they scored twice and we were then always struggling. Still think we can push Lees and Widnes though not sure we will win those games.

Well tried lads, keep on plugging away.

Scoring 10 points in 3 games is embarrassing. Even Widnes have scored 48. 2 tries in 240 minutes of rugby. Our play the ball is so slow, really showed today.

I would give Sam wood a try at stand off he is one of the few that came out of today with any credit . Muzza had a shocker chasing shadows all afternoon way off the pace johonno no impact. We can't just stick as we are . Qlt showed what is achievable with an attacking player .who the opposition has to watch closely Thought their no 31 was just what we need. He has certainly put the spark in Salford.

You mean that NRL player? Im sure our board are putting a deal together for him as we speak. Infact why don't we see if we can nick Lui off them as well at the same time.

Re: Salford match. : Sun Sep 02, 2018 6:56 pm
The scoreline really should not be a surprise given how much quality Salford have got but I thought our performance was below par. Our ability to make it look hardwork to score points even against championship sides was always going to show up against much better opposition when the pressure was on and as has been said 2 trys in 3 games is appalling. It would be acceptable if it were our 1st year in the top 4 and we do not know what to expect but this happens year on year so I would expect the coaching team to be working towards fixing this problem and you would hope this would be addressed in the off season although I really cant see us changing any key positions once again.
