The council "DO NOT" make any monies out of anything at the Shay except from rent,5 aside and car parking.To my knowledge. How many times must this be repeated. Please lock this thread.

They take money on the catering. In what form I'm not quite sure (franchise contract from EMC I assume). But all the bar prices etc. were set by the council.

EMC bought the franchise and keep the profit, there for pay rent only. IIRC.

Maybe if Halifax Town had been paying the proper amount of rent all the time then maybe there would not be such a shortfall MalcomAgarsTieups. Did not the old Club owe a few thousand when going under as well?

They were paying the amount that they'd negotiated with the council.
