Got to agree with that, yer send your youngsters but put at least 4 or 5 first teamers on the bench to bring on to balance things up when you need to, that is what teams normally do for games they class as 'extra' ones not full blown first team games.
The Giants fans obviously knew they were not sending a strong team over as not many bothered coming over sadly.
At least we blew them away which is what we should do to a bunch of kids.

We should sack the Giants off as a friendly if that is the team they are going to send. No incentive for fans to watch that, not very good prep for us when you are getting ready for a tough opening game. Great stuff for the Giants they now know if their "kids" can cope at top end championship rugby. They can't. We would be better getting a champ 1 team as a friendly which would be a more physical challenge.

A similar situation with us on friday , the W1g4n juniors although bigger than us, and probably on more money than us, and yet even though we started with several of our juniors, we were always in control, adding a few 1 st teamers would have kick started the game, but they weren't there

I agree go for a Championship 1 club who would probably go for it as we would be a highlight for them if they could knock us over plus we won't play them again probably so no fear of showing your hand to a rival. It would also be nice to play some different clubs for a change.

Many fax posters prattle on about 'respect' and 'disrespect' like the morons on Jeremy Kyle. It is touching.

Several of the guys playing today are in our 18s HTH

Wouldn't know, never seen the programme but you're obviously a regular viewer.

Take your patronising attitude elsewhere. Championship clubs have enough of that from the RFL.

After this weeks events ( Bradford Bulls now have life membership of SL ) and the birth of the new SL players only union it is time the Championships broke away and reclaimed our game as a sport once again with it's players tied to rock solid legally binding contracts. Leave SL to carry on selling franchises alongside KFC, McDonalds etc.
