I'm a bloke in my thirties and followed fax home and away since my dad took me to Thrum hall in 1980. He was a life long fax fan who moved to Bradford before I was born. I have lived in Bradford all my life and growing up on a street full of Northern and later cattle fans, I got plenty of stick. school was always a lovely place on a Monday if we got beat by them and the pothunters came out of the woodwork. I lived about two miles from odsal for a long time and I can honestly say I have waited for this day for a long time!
The honest answer is though that I am so sick and tired of all the under handed dirty dealings taking place in our sport that I have lost all belief and trust in it. I actually want rugby league to thrive, I don't even wish any club, even the cattle to go under but things are wrong in many ways.
The people running this game are killing it and they need to be stopped. I sit here knowing Bradford will be saved, I actually hope they are for the few loyal fans they have, but quite simply they should have this ridiculous franchise reviewed and/or play at a level they can afford to play at. It won't happen because the cowboys who rode into our game have a vested interest in keeping the egg off of their faces.
It stinks, has stunk for a long time and at least they own the deeds to an old dump that one day they'll crawl back to cos that stinks too!
I was always told you reap what you sew. SL clubs need to wake up and let the real RL people run our game.
