For no other reason than curiosity, i'd be interested to hear; out of Karl's signings last pre season, who has been good enough,

I commented on a few of your signings at the beginning of the season but most on here disagree with me
For what is worth you signed a IM from us we told you he was one of the best in the championship but would be injured more than playing surely KH knew this Regarding RD you have been unlucky with him great signing for you but unfortunate season SH not good enough at Fev or Batley can't understand why he signed him why swap Hanforth for Black that was unbelievable
As I said on another thread you have a very strong championship team and if you want consistency you need to keep the team together add a couple and it's up to your coach to make them better players
Once everyone calmed down you will be back next year in the top 5 whether you win the league or not will depend on your coaches skill to make your players better time will tell

Ashall - started well but has had some real stinkers lately
Casey - seen some good moments but not enough, he's one for the future?
Tiger - ok, workman like HB with little flair
Heaton - hit top form just before his injury, should be good next season
Hesketh - miles of the form of 2010 Batley days
Dane Manning - Absolutely awesome signing
Morro - Good but always injured
Nanyn - unluckiest player ever noone could have thought he would be out for full season
Adam Robinson - Top player
Thacks - ok
Tyrer - class, just needs to be more consistent.

Overall not too bad, be interesting to see how good his pulling power is in attracting Penky's replacement.

You got to realise that there are only really 6 decent teams in this League and based on that you finished mid table. Yeah you got the nrc but to be honest you lost the games that really counted,the difference being DP Is twice the Coach Harrison will ever be. Go gloat on your own board where people might actually give a $hit. Yes you finished above us blah blah blah and many of us have recognised Fev as the benchmark. You must be a sad individual if all you can respond with is an attempt to get a rise??? Jog on flower.

Oh and if I was to bite I'd reply with when it matters versus Fax we seem to have you in our pockets at finals. That must really eat away at you....... Shame.

Nah far from it flower ...you had a couple o good games in an otherwise crap season pal we had a couple o bad ones in a fantastici season,now I know that eats you up .

Actually no it doesn't at all!! Not one bit.

What is currently frosting my cookies though is when you are from an area of the country where education is open and free to all and then having to communicate back to people with little or no intelligence or even limited IQ it's such a drag.

Halifax fans have had the joy of winning one of the only two finals played this season at this level of rugby. Fev wanted that game badly and you did brilliantly to stop them winning. Their coach's reaction after the match, spoke volumes. It did not look to me as he did not think that was a big match. In the absence of promotion and relegation, IMO it is just as impressive to win the NRC as the GF. Last year Leigh and Fev only lost one game each in the league out of 20 and drew one. They stuffed up in the NRC, losing to you at home in the semis. They also lost to Widnes in the NRC group stages. Leigh botched the play offs, losing to Fev and Sheffield. We had an identical playing record to Fev last season, except we played one more game overall. In addition they got about seventy shoved on them in the CC, whereas we narrowly lost to Catalans. However, most people would view their season much more positively. I know that financially, the GF is more rewarding, but until it guarantees the victor promotion, to me it is no more significant a triumph than winning the NRC.

Sheffield reached the GF from 6th spot last year and in theory could have won it. They showed nowhere near the consistent form of Leigh and Fev , but came with a surge at the end of the year. They seemed to just hit form at the right time and have done the same again this time around. You just seem to have run out of steam and yesterday was not typical of the way you have played throughout the year. You were more exciting to watch last year IMO, but you have won a trophy this year and won far more league games. You are the only team in this league to have won a final so far in 2012 and should be proud of that. I am also sure you will continue to be a big threat in 2013.
