Some stats from yesterday taken from the Fev forum on TotalRL:

Rovers race into a 12 point lead. Penalty count at that point: 3-1 in Rovers favour.

Fax hit back and score 20 unanswered points thanks to 7 consecutive penalties in their favour. Penalty count 3-8.

Rovers come back and score 16 unanswered points thanks to 5 consecutive penalties in their favour. Penalty count ends up 8-8.

The penalty count was 8-8.... seemed pretty even to me.
Fax got on a roll with a string of penalties, we got back with 5 on the bounce!!
Come on 76, open thi eyes and see it like it was. Tough game and I'm glad we got the points. It could have gone either way at one point.

I gave myself sometime with the dvd before I replied to this. The ball is clearly visibly ripped out by a fax player. Cording gathers up the loose ball.... that's play on and is rightly a try!!

Johnson was the best player on the park and as you say he was causing damage. I said to Marillion man when Scott Murrell gave that forrad pass that all was needed was a stady six and a kick and the game was there to be taken. It didn't materialise that way. Fax stopped doing what the did to get a hold of the game, panicked and the discipline went. Result ...fev win.
Old fashioned rugby. Enjoyed the game. Enjoyed the company. Enjoyed the craic.

some bloke at fev reckoned Fax think they are the man utd of rugby but I cudn't get him to explain wot the heck he was gobbing about.

I thought it was the tamest Fev Fax game iv seen for a few years, no intensity and it looked like 2 poor teams to me, mind i was smashed

Fev arent full time, I know some of the lads who went from batley last season and they all work.
