Well, maybe it's a lesson we have to learn, although Sam Barlow has to be THE thickest plank ever to grace a rugby pitch. He will put on many more performances down the line and I still warrant that he will be a bigger disruption to Leigh than an asset. Yesterday his 10 minute "man of the match" spell paid off because our players/coach were even dumber.
And what a great win for them today, come on Fax make it a double.
Cmon John , im worried about you , nothings been heard from you since yesterday , the search parties are forming .And no show from you in the 3Pigeons yesterday .

Charlie tried to make it but my record time in the London Marathon held me back. Time? 36 hours and 37 pubs.

Glad to hear your OK , and good to see you are taking the beating in good heart , like a true sportsman you are .As you said Sam was given a bit of stick I think he expected it , but it wasn't just him , ive watched the replays many times since , as for Actons sin binning , it was Emmitt at fault not Acton , so how KH can blame Acton is beyond me .In the first half you played us off the pitch , but we had no ball possesions or territory , in second half when Bob Beswick came on the game changed , still a cracker of a game , hope to see ya at the Wren for the return game .Have faith in Fax .

Charlie, I look on sport as I look on life, you win some you lose some, you have a good day you have a bad day, But? Sport is a game, as my late great Father in Law said "John, doesn't matter what the score is, you've still got to go to work on Monday" Incidentally, spent the day today in Blackpool, when are they going to take the scaffolds of your Tower? Had a drink in the bar opposite the funfair, pint of Stowfords press for me and half of Heinekin for Mrs Halifaxjohn, £6.23, Must get Mrs Halifaxjohn to have a third of a pint?

Totally agree John every dog has its day and it will be Faxes turn to Bark before the Season is over , I have faith , as for the Tower its like that for a while yet because of improvements and refurbishments .I myself am tee-total but Mrs Caroli is captain of the England drinking team , where I prefer Gourmet Food , and have eaten in some fine establishments as Strangeways , Spud-u-like ,Moscow State Circus ,Luigi's Greasy Spoon and the Fev Hotel Jimmy Anderson bowls their Yorkshire Puddings when playing for England .
So the flat cappers are targeting themselves with bringing over a 1000 and putting on 8 coaches at low cost.
If they get a thousand in that south stand then we need to target at least three thousand combined across the West and North stands for a cup tie between the best two teams outside of SL.
All good to hear and we know they and Halifax are well supported but we need to continue to prove we are the best bet to go on and on from our strong position over the next few years by demonstrating our great support to Fev like we did to Fax yesterday.
I'd urge anyone who reads these pages and who hasn't seen the quality we have in our ranks and indeed the quality of Chamionship RL generally this year to please come along.
For all our regular fans please could I make a plea for you to each bring along a friend, family member, work colleague or even just someone in pub or a random off the street anyone will do
It's not fetch bob it's fetch anyone you like to give our lads the vocal support in numbers they need to inspire then like you did yesterday.
Let's show these men what a big crowd and big atmosphere is like inside state of the facility and really get the place rocking as a place in the next round could see us net a SL club and some bonus revenue to boost the coffers and also give even more ammunition for future strengthening of areas of the club.
The momentum is building, let's keep those numbers rising as we have everything in place to suggest we are a SL club in the making so let's show the RL world that our towns people really do believe.
Cheers
Andy Mazey
Constant communication and constant engagement with fans. Drive and ambition.
This is from a club recently on its knees.
The results will be there for all to see at the end of the season. Will their fanbase have increased significantly? Time will tell but they're making a pretty good attempt at changing their fortunes.
