The other stuff I can see your point but I doubt Fax will be offering reduced contracts to most players they keep if like they say they did budget for 3rd place. I also highly doubt the club ever had any plans to go full time if they finished second instead I would imagine the extra funding would be used to pay off debts.
The way Clubs choose to spend the RFL Funding is their own business , we at Leigh have no debts , im led to understand so I suppose we are fortunate , as for quality players being snapped up by a better team ?I can Honestly say out of the whole Fax Squad this season , not one of them would get into the Current Leigh first 17 , a bold statement to make but that's my opinion .
