It's a strange one, without knowing all the facts it's hard to see how this benefitted anyone when he wasn't even in the Widnes 17.

The only thing I can think of is that by the time they made this decision and the Fax game being on a Friday it was too late the reverse it.

Watch this space to see if he's back for next week I suppose.

The call to HKR would probably have played a part with RM not wanting to go back on that as well.

I made a comment earlier that seems to have gone missing but anyway, it might benefit us because he is bound to be peeved he missed winning pay from Friday night and hopefully it encourages him to make the move until at least the end of the season.

Also Ive not seen it mentioned anywhere but Jacob Fairbank played for Huddersfield today so that might be another player we cant get back as we must be close to the limit on loan restrictions.

Well unless there is another u turn on the horizon he will not be back anytime soon.

This weeks press has him saying he has been told by DB that if he trains hard with the club over the next few weeks he will in the Widnes team.

This weeks press said that RM had asked about Danny again but there was no follow up in what the answer was.

He was in the Widnes 19 man match day squad over the weekend but did not make it into the 17.

RM stated they were still looking to add another half back but if no one came available they would be okay with Murrell, Johnson and Conner Robison who could play there even though Murrell is not 100% fit and that was before the scan news broke.

Case of hope Scotty is okay and watch this space for any additions.
