With so few games previously under his belt Ben has surprised me for one with how well he has done since being given a chance ( his style reminds me a bit of Mark Percival ) and with the likes of Greg Worthington and Joe Arundel not getting any younger should be able to hold his spot and become a real quality player for us.

Kavanagh signs a one year extension, had a great season, he’s been dynamic in attack and defence and never has a bad game , happy with this one .

Aye, i would say he is the most improved player this season, along with Murray, Well worth another year.

Kav adds a lot in both attack and defense and the left hand side partnership with Keyes & Co has been really potent for us this season.

Yes another good resigning by the club for me kav is playing is best rugby we have seen during is time here lets hope he can keep it up at least for another year.

Really liking how our recruitment is coming along with most of the key members of the squad tied down for next season. It is going to give Grix the chance to be very choosy who he looks to bring in to add to the squad and we must be a very good option when players look at our squad. Obviously there are going to be a number of newcastle players available and I wouldn't mind if we were to take Alex Foster or at a push Ollie Roberts although I were not really impressed with his loan appearences but that could have been match fitness. A quick look at our squad and I think maybe another Centre and some size up front and we could realistically hope to push in to the group of Fev and Toulouse next season.

Tangata for 2 years - another solid signing as he's having a good season and still looks really fit. Delighted that it looks as though we're trying to keep together the bulk of what's been the best squad we've had for years.
