Anyway, I watched the documentary "Another Bloody Sunday" on YouTube and the oldies on here in particular will love it. It's about 50 minutes long and follows the Donny team as they try to break a mega long losing run. Unfit but passionate players playing on a cow field at Tatters Field, £35 for a win and £12 for a loss, directors having meetings in a portakabin, players smoking in the changing rooms after the match. Viewing highly recommended.
Their star man at the time was a huge guy called Tony Banham (who I think died fairly young). I remember him on the charge at Thrum Hall and Keith Waites (our skinny winger) tried to stop him with a shoulder in his mid rift.
