Didn’t Callys 2 year extension get announced just before the Grix departure announcement?

Yes Cally's first then something like, "like another, check our social media sites from 5pm.

5 pm came and went and the post was removed then after Mick Gledarse's revelation the club were forced into the SG announcement a couple of hours later.

Said in a recent interview he had nothing finalised yet despite the rumours.Absolute zero chance of getting Wire job.

I can't imagine it was Grix's renewal as I heard he did a Gwaze and stalled on the contract offered which then got withdrawn probably in all likelyhood after a poor run of results. I imagine at that point he saw the writing was on the wall and started looking for a way out. I still think its worked out well for everyone, Grix gets a shot in SL and Halifax are not stuck with a coach on a 3 year deal with results not matching what the board were expecting.

If the board withdrew the offer why did Richard durgan post he was gutted he was leaving on his own social media page .

The truth is more like he has had a few offers (from SL), our board wanted him to stay and offered terms to retain him. He has chosen a route which is better for someone who wants longer term career in coaching.
