The RFL make the rules us as they go along. If somebody looks like they are going to tick a box, they'll take the pen off them.

and replace it with a leek or a thistle! Hopefully we've done our bit to put one in the eye of licensing, need the rest of rugby league to wake up to that which is killing our game!

Had the pleasure of sitting in front of the RFL bunch at the match they were quite cheery till it looked like we were going to win they were as miserable as sin.Although I`ve no doubt they will enjoy the tremendeous packed house at the Celts/Cats match down in Wales on the 23rd the atmosphere will be terrific.

Dont get too excited fax,you were playing a side with the 10th worst defence out of 14 clubs,...and lets face it (for anyone whos watched the game for a number of years) cas are renowned for their unpredictabilty of winning matches they shouldent and losing the matches they should win

Just thought i would come on this morning and congratulate you on a superp performance last night.

I dont think cas were really at the races tonight but that certainly had something to do with the way you lot played.

Was evident that we had a no recognised stand out hooker as your number 9 (i wont try and spell it but it begins with P) ran the show. I could not belive the amount of off loads that your team made. We just seemed power less to stop them.

Really hope you go un beaten for the rest of the season. Still for the life of me cant understand the RFL wanting to "expand" the game when there are clubs with heritage, support and clearly the playing ability (of which at least a few are English) in the middle of the heart lands.

I still argue that the decision to bring in the Welsh is a way of getting more sky cash into the RFL's pocket by way of a new market for advertising but unfortunately the decision is made.

Any how sure thats already been said but well done tonight. Thought your fans were amazing. Sea of blue and white in the sun on the Railway end. Great to see. Keep playing the way youd o and you will walk the league and be in SL before you know it.

Yours a very humbled Cas fan

Thanks very much for your post and it was a pleasure to visit Cas again, but remember all clubs have a vote at the RFL meetings and I cannot for the life in me see what your team gets out of this franchise lark .When Tolouse get a pass in three years time you will have 4 teams bringing no-one plus you can`t sell hospitality or sponsorship for the matches either.Think it`s time we all told the RFL we`re not playing your game we are playing ours.Make them start in the lower leagues and work there way up if the support is there they come through naturally but it should not be at the expense of heartland clubs.

Absolutely agree with you on the whole franchise debacle. I dont agree with it nor do i want it. I see the supposed benefits for young english player development but apart from a few at cas ad a few others scatered about is there actually any? the top teams like saint Leeds etc bring through youngsters any way. Cut out the foreign imports and this would solve that problem tomorrow.

I'm farid to say however that it seems like Rugby league has made its decision and as a "community" we have to live with it. I agree it would be fantastic to break away i just cant see chairman agreeing to it with all the cash theyl would lose from image rights with Sky.

It fustrates me so much that traditional clubs with history, which even people outside the game recognise could be over looked for the shambles which is the Welsh team. Absolutely start them in the lower leagues. On the same rules though!!!! None of this increased foreign players like Celtic and Catalans had and still do have!!!!

Cas went there a couple of weeks ago and the attendance for that was 2,000 of which over half were from Cas. Went to Edinburgh the following week saw about five fans there from Celtic and about 20 from fax and you were not even playing. Think that says it all.

I really do wish you all the best of luck for the coming season. Word of warning. Dont play that well again as other clubs will come looking at your talent. I know i would do if i were matterson this morning. Certain full back would go quite nice down the jungle. Season long loan of your hookers whilst our captain recovers. any takers

The rule that gives a point if you have no teams within 20 miles of you will be the death of the game

We don't HAVE to live with it, we don't HAVE to live with anything!

I'm fairly comfortable our players are perfectly happy to stay put, at least for this season. The team spirit is second to none, the players appear to be loving it, as are the fans. It's whether they wanna swop happiness for money. And as the Beatles so famously sang ... "Money can't buy me love", hatfield, oh no it won't ....
